Modular Hybrid Data Centre for AI & HPC.
A purpose-built modular hybrid data centre engineered for advanced AI and HPC workloads. Designed for a spatially constrained rooftop location, FRIDA combines air and liquid cooling, high-density computing capability and long-term scalability within a fully integrated prefabricated solution.
Rapid growth in AI and machine learning workloads required a major increase in computing capacity, while maintaining compatibility with the existing IT environment and enabling future expansion of liquid-cooled infrastructure. The solution also had to fit a highly constrained rooftop location.
NTR engineered and delivered a purpose-built modular hybrid data centre integrating IT space, power distribution, modular UPS, air and liquid cooling, fire protection, physical security and DCIM monitoring. The architecture supports mixed air- and liquid-cooled workloads and enables future increases in liquid-cooled capacity without major changes to the core infrastructure.
Delivered as a turnkey project in less than six months, FRIDA provides UL FRI with scalable, high-performance infrastructure for advanced AI and HPC workloads, including deep neural network training and large language model development.
